The Jackson County School System has been recognized for outstanding efforts in employee
appreciation, earning the Best Appreciation Program in Middle Tennessee award at a statewide
meeting in Nashville on Friday. The award was presented to Superintendent Jason Hardy by Dr.
Dan Tollett, Utrust Administrator.

Gainesboro Elementary students and staff were excited to get a visit from Riley the Reading Raccoon, the TDOE literacy mascot. He encouraged them to keep up the great work.
